Pedigree match-up opinions, please
Would those of you who enjoy commenting on mare-stallion matchups please take a look at the 1999 mare McGuerty Creek and give your opinions on whether or not she would be a good match for Indy Mood? Thanks bunches in advance!

Interesting here -- with this mare, you pick up a couple of *Princequillo sons to go with the double of Somethingroyal in Indy, a HTR son to go with Reason to Earn, and a line to Frizette via Miss Dogwood by a source other than Mr. Prospector. You also have some interesting line breeding to Discovery with a rare strain of his champion daughter Conniver. Looks like a rather late-maturing matchup, though.

Hi Roguelet,
I can see by this breeding you have to fly abit by the seat of your pants. The dams of this mare do not have a lot of foals to base your decisions on. I have to say I do like Strodes Creek and I have always thought that he was a much better race horse than his records reflect. Something as you would picture Broad Brush as talent.
I like your stallion he appears to have great balance in much the same way as Strodes Creek has. Also I know that Seattle Slew gets along very well with Judy Rullah, Prince John and Hail to Reason. I like the match and if your mare is a bit smaller than your stallion I don't think it will hurt you at all.
P.S. If you ever get your hands on a Cure the Blues mare, don't let her escape because I think it would be a very good mare for your stallion.
