Can someone recommend a good and reasonable insurance company where I can get insurance for a new horse?

I have my show horses with Markel, but many companies will not insure a racehorse.

I am an equine insurance agent and can get you a free quote. Please email me your horse's name, age, use, and purchase price to [email protected]

Don Peters who attends this forum also is an equine insurance agent. His number is 800-422-4717. I have used for years an Oklahoma company Loftin-Humphrey, 405-360-0052.

I've only required it once in eighteen years, but it's not expensive for the premium.
