Who is this horse?

Postby Jorge » Mon Dec 24, 2007 3:43 pm

If you login to the following article:

http://www.apha.com/breed/pdf/GraycoatcolorAug06.pdf

there is a photo of gray horse named AZE BEDUINO (#5) winning a race. My question: what is the name of the horse who arrived in 2nd place? Quite interesting appaloosa-looking or roaned phenotype.

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

All the Best,

(p.s. Don't miss to browse all those great articles

Jorge,
It appears to be a mixed breed race, and the second place finisher is an Appaloosa.

Tiz,

Yet knowing the name would be quite auspicious from the perspective of its pedigree. Would like to search on this one.

You are correct Tiz. It would have been a mixed race. Aze Beduino is sabino under the grey, and due to the AQHA rules at the time, was registered and raced as a Paint.

Now that the AQHA has dropped th white rule, he is double registered (IIRC).

Possibly at Blue Ribbon Downs in OK. They also have ApHC racing.
