I'll try to find out where a copy can be obtained or where it can be seen. It apparently follows several prison programs including the one in South Carolina.
The horse at the beginning of the trailer, King's Honor, is quite a poster boy for their documentary.
They mention that he was a horse who didn't live up to his pedigree and man they weren't kidding.
King's Honor is a 1996 gelding by A.P. Indy out of Great Lady M. making him a half-brother to Horse Of The Year Lady's Secret.
He was a $275,000 RNA at Keeneland July (and that's actually very cheap for that pedigree indicating he had some problems right off the bat)
He made 10 starts for Aaron and Marie Jones in the barn of Bob Baffert and won a $32,000 Maiden Claimer at Del Mar and a Starter Allowance.
Then he was claimed for $16,000 out of his 11th start in the Baffert Barn and he made two starts in claiming races at Santa Anita with trainer Mike Mitchell but he never hit the board so his owners transferred him from Mike Mitchell to trainer Eddie Truman and ran him for $6,250 claiming at Bay Meadows Fair. He was second in that race and was claimed by trainer Tom Roberts.
He then was off the board for $8,000 at Sacremento and next ran for $4,000 at Fresno. He won that race and was claimed by trainer Dan Harrell. In that barn he was off the board in 10 of 11 starts, including a DNF, in cheap claimers at Los Alamitos, Golden Gate, Stockton, Pleasonton, and Solano, and Santa Rosa but he was claimed for $3,200 out of the Santa Rosa race by trainer Gary Greiner. He managed 3 wins and a second in 6 starts for that barn until he was claimed from them for $2,500 at Grants Pass by trainer Juanita Jones. He had 3 wins, a second, and a third for that barn until he was claimed for $3,500 by trainer Gerald Robinson. In that barn he had two wins and a fourth in 3 starts before being claimed for $1,600 by trainer Dennis Hurley. His last 17 starts seem to have been made in the barn of Dennis Hurley where he managed 2 wins, a second, and 3 thirds in those 17 starts. His last start was for $3,200 at Grants Pass, where he was third, and that was on July 4th, 2006. He ended his racing career with 13 wins in 80 starts, but earnings of less than $64,000 (most of his good runs came in races at places like Grant's Pass with purses around $2,000 - hard to accumulate much in the way of earnings running in races like that).
We can't really tell from the movie trailer, but he hopefully found his way from the track to one of these prison rescues.
