INDY" OUT OF CHAMPION AND BREEDER'S CUP JUVENILLE FILLIES WINNER "COUNTESS DIANA" HAS AS OF TODAY BEEN REGISTERED WITH THE AMERICAN PAINT HORSE ASSOCIATION WITH THE NAME "COUNT ME IN JC". THE NAME "COUNT ME IN" WAS ALREADY IN USE THEREFORE "JC" WAS ADDED. "JC" IS ADDED TO THE NAMES OF MY HORSES WHEN THEIR NAME HAS ALREADY BEEN TAKEN IN ANOTHER ASSOCIATION TO SIGNIFY THEIR JOCKEY CLUB REGISTRATION.

"COUNT ME IN" HAS SIRED HIS FIRST COLORED FOAL OF THE YEAR, A FILLY OUT OF "MAJESTIC tIME", HALF SISTER TO GRADED STAKES WINNER "ARSON SQUAD".


HIS THOROUGHBRED FOALS AND QUARTER HORSE FOALS ARE NOW ELIGIBLE TO RACE AND SHOW AS PAINTS.

Did the one paint parent rule change with APHA? or does he have one paint parent? Either way congrats. Just wondering how that works now.

"Count Me In" has the required color requirements for Paint papers. He has a large white patch with underlying unpigmented skin on his belly as well as additional Paint horse characteristics.
"Count Me In" was foaled before the Paint registry decided to no longer register Thoroughbreds and Quarter Horses with excessive white markings.
The APHA required 19 documents and considerable fees before the registration could be completed. It is because of Lanes End and WinStar's committment to help breeders achieve their goals that "Count Me In" will pass his grand genetics into the Paint breed of the future.
My daughter of "Secretariat" ("Kremlin Secretary" - bred like "Terlingua", dam of "Storm Cat")) is bred to "Count Me In" and I am dreaming of a colored Secretariat grandson... for it is the dream that is a large part of the race.
