There is no way that anyone can take what pedigreequery has, as authentic, as long as ANYONE can post what they want. They are going to have to follow some guidelines...
I, as a novice pedigree student... have found so many mistakes!
How can they fix this?

I have a QuarterBase program that I use. I have had it for years. And the only pedigrees I will put into it are those I have gotten from the Registries.
Sadly, the old software won't run with my new computer. It is still usuable on the old 'puter. But, sounds like a good excuse to get that Tesio I have been wanting!

if you're going to be a serious student of pedigrees, you have to use Tesio or some of the other programs. I started with the Werk program in DOS and miss it terribly.
Good luck with your pedigree work.... it is totally addictive! There are many experts on here who can guide you if you need.

I have only been doing the Thoroughbreds for a few years now. For 15 years, I raised Egyptian Arabians. And my "pedigree" program used for study then was a bunch of books and handwritten pedigree forms!
Computers certainly make things easier, but I wonder if I didn't learn much more about the horses and their history using the books?
I have compiled a nice TB library and use them often, but it is so much easier to just pop on the computer!
Still fun either way...
