One of my spring foals has 3 crosses to the mare Nogara through 2 different sons and a daughter. I don't recall ever seeing this in one pedigree through all of my pedigree research.
Anyone know if this combination is found in any prominent runners?
In addition to the above, the foal has 3 colt factors, 2 filly factors, and full siblings 6 x 6 (War Relic and Anchors Ahead) and is tail female to Bold Irish being 8c. Also, from the immediate female family of Champion Epitome, Essence of Dubai, Green Forest, etc).
Sire is Cozzene and dam is a Trempolino mare.
Nogara...how common?

Hi
There have been quite a few very good runners with triple Nogara in their pedigrees. G1 winner Assert, Champion European sprinter and sire, Last Tycoon, Champion Japanese 2yo Daishin Fubuki, New Zealand broodmare-of-the-year Eight Carat, Italian Oaks winner Kerkenna, and the G1 Stakes winner Pas de Seul, just to name a few.
