Board Horse in the Queen's Plate

Postby Heather T. » Fri Jun 20, 2008 9:22 am

Thought you all might like to know that a board horse will be running in the Queen's Plate on Sunday.

My 3 year-old gelding, Shadowless, (Stormy Atlantic - Life in Fiction by Whiskey Wisdom) will start in the race on Sunday. I don't know if anyone remembers me asking for sire recommendations for my mare a few years back, but I ended up going with Stormy Atlantic and Shadowless was the result.

He's a longshot, but still a legitimate contender. Emma Wilson who road last year's winner, Mike Fox, will have the mount.

Knock on wood...

Heather

That is fantastic! Best of luck to you :) I love Stormy Atlantic and Emma Jane Wilson! It is going to be a pretty big field this year with one filly running against the boys. I am looking forward to the race :)

This is exciting news. I LOVE Stormy Atlantic and I remember you posting about Life in Fiction. Emma is an very good jockey - here's to a good trip for both. Will be cheering for your boy to win!!

Good luck. I hope he does well for you. We are hoping East End Tap does something. He is out of one of Gone Fishin's half sisters. East End Lady.
