Need Texas Help

Postby JimP » Mon Jul 14, 2008 12:17 pm

Hi Guys,

I am not from Texas but race most of my horses in the state. Without going into a lot of detail at the moment one of my horses has gone missing. The last message is she was left at 2 Eagles Farm in Lytle or Lytel, Tx. The farm has a new name but I wasn't given that information.
Has anyone heard of this farm. If you have please help me find my filly.

Thanks
JimP

I don't know them, but hope you will keep us informed on the where abouts of your filly. In Texas, we don't take kindly to the idea that someone misplaced your horse.

Hi Guys,

ct2346 thanks for the lead. That phone number didn't work but I did a reverse lookup on the address and got a phone number. As of yesterday I hadn't gotten a hold of anyone. I am thankful for the help.

I do hope I find my filly soon. I really can't believe my trainer would do such a thing. He has trained for me for 7 years almost all in Texas.

Anymore information anyone can find would be greatly appreciated.

JimP, I don't have any info. to help you but I just have to wish you luck and let you know I'll be pulling for you. I had a similar thing happen to me and I know what a royal PITA it can turn into. I really hope your situation is resolved quickly and easily.

Hi Guys,

I have found my horse on a farm in Texas, south of San Antonio. The scumbag trainer left her there over a year ago according to the farm but was still collecting money from me. The farm had no idea I even existed.

She had an offical work at Lonestar in June......yea somebody had a work but it wasn't her.

I sure hope he gets what is coming to him someday.

Thanks for all your help you don't know how much I appreciated it.

I would find out what track he is at and go to the stewards there. Can you do anything with the governing licensing body, like the ORC here in Ontario? and have his license suspended? What a ba#$$rd!!
I am glad that you found your horse, hope she is in good shape.

I am glad that you located your horse. I hope that she is in generally good condition, but under the best of circumstances a horse kept on a farm is not a horse kept in training. I hope that you will do something to follow up on such a reprehensible, and surely illegal, practice? If I were you, I would definitely contact the Texas Racing Commission. I promise you that is not how business is generally done in Texas.

Wow I must say you are a patient person. I hope you can get this trainer suspended. I would seriously think about seeing if you can prosecute him for fraud, or at the very least sue him for false billing.
Best of luck to you, what a story!

:x Me too. As I'm sure everyone else in the vicinity of LoneStar would.
