Yes It was last week. Alissa Blowe took over the situation and has found homes for everybody. There is an ongoing investigation and hopefully everything and everybody will come into the light and charges laid accordingly.

This kind of discovery seems to be happening more and more often and it is simply unacceptable. Individuals who know better and just don't care enough to do the right thing have no place in our industry. These people should be dragged centre stage for us all to see, in addition to having their trainers/owners/official licenses pulled. Anyone guilty of such a serious offence will be black listed in my book and I suspect I am not the only one to feel this way.

Man! Humanity is going to hell in a handbasket and we are taking all of the worlds animals with us. How sad

Standing up to their armpits in sh#t and piss. Not fed. Body scores of 1 and 2's I think in swampy, bug infested fields with no grass etc. Also a little colt was locked in a dark stall had not been fed or given water for approx weeks. He went immediately to a vets place is on I.V and whatever jugs of stuff they can shove in his little collapsed veins to keep him going. 5 were 2 year olds bought at the sale last year. They were seized and have all been adopted already, except for the 2 year olds. They of course won't be leaving for their new homes till they are well enough to travel.
Yet these trainers have won endless races this year and can not or more like Would Not feed or care for their horses. The sh#t is going to hit the fan for sure.

the whole place is hell.last year only a handful of decent people on the backstrech:drugs, alcool, joint injections, filthy stalls and horses, fixed races,a race secretary married to a trainer on the backstrech,a steward whose whole family races there,vets,jocks...they have their place in a comic book...or a federal investigation...and as usual horses foot the bill...

She gave you a great clue. The person won two races the day of her post. Can you say E Q U I B A S E Results?
A quick check shows a Henry Reid actually won 3 races on 9-9-2009 at Fort Erie. No other trainer won more than one race on the card that I could tell.
