Navigator colt in the database?

Postby Shadowrun » Sun Oct 05, 2008 7:33 am

I read the following article about a yearling named Navigator who suffered severe ataxia as a yearling and spent 7 months in a sling. He is now in race training as a 4 yr old.

http://news.bloodhorse.com/article/47368.htm

I can't find him in the database and when I tried to enter him in my stable to follow on Equineline, only one choice for the filly popped up.

Do you suppose he is not yet registered? I would have assumed he would already be registered if he was in race training as a 4 yr old.

If anyone knows the registered name would they comment/add him to the database?

This story intrigued me, as I am interested in following horses that have overcome a early handicap to see how they fare down the road... I have a recently purchased weanling filly, who has had issues of her own. A rescue of sorts, but one tough cookie. :D

Maybe the colt has a different name and the EPM medicine they used was Navigator :D

He would be a 2003 model and there is no horse by that name, born in 2003, registered with the Jockey Club. There is 2006 horse by that name, which wouldn't be allowed if there was already one in 2003.
So Run for the Roses, as fast as you can.....
