Frankly, I wouldn't believe anything I read on a PETA website.

I feed Iams to my cat. I am glad that it is tested to be safe and healthy for her.

I keep my bag of food outside and I know there is a stray that has been snacking from it.

Thus, I am feeding one more stray cat than PETA ever has.

Try reading "meet Iams researchers." I do not always agree with PETA but they have exposed some really serious cruelty and can usually back their stories up with evidence. I do not feed any Iams products and after reading about the people that work there and what they are guilty of I probably never will.
