Online Wagering

Postby Sock Monkey » Mon Oct 13, 2008 12:52 pm

What's your favorite site for online wagering? One with low fees and ideally, the ability to see live video feed?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

I use TVG primarily. I can withdraw or deposit directly to and from my checking account at no cost. I can also sit in my reclining chair and do the above plus bet on horses with my remote.

I use TVG and Twin Spires. Mostly TVG.

Can you bet on a race at Golden Gate with TVG, even though you can't watch the damn thing?

No, and not sure why. You could last spring.

Most of the ADW companies are mired in negotiations with the TOC in California...as per recent headlines. Until the horsemen's groups decide how they want to split the pot, you can expect big holes in signal distribution for several tracks (especially in those states where THG has gotten involved). It's not good for ADW's, tracks, horsemen or fans!

The big prob with TVG is that if you are not an acount holder you cannot see those races that are on Streaming Video.
I live in Nevada which TVG is not allowed in, so I have racebook.com. I would like to use others but TVG isnt very good here.

I just now tried to make an account with TWINSPIRES and wouldnt let me make an acount because I live in Nv.
And then I went to BETAMERICA and it said that my date of birth was inaccurate - that was an ordeal that I didn't need. Can't activate the account until I lie to them and tell them a fake date of birth.
So neither of those have my postitive feedback.

Generally, I hate all things Magna, but I must admit they've got a good website. They don't charge you to bet and you get free video on any race you've bet on. TVG has great software but you don't get video unless you pay for it, and they charge me $0.25 for each bet.
