Trainers/owners have been banned permanently from the track.

As a side not, I know at least 2 of the horses generated a lot of interest at the Suffolk Showcase on 10/26. So, these horses were young, healthy, and able to have second careers. There was a lot of interest in Tiny Target and I saw a pic of him...very cute little guy and grey.

Just not enough buyers and too many horses......

The horses were in New Holland just for a nightly stopover??

If the person who tipped off the track was not affiliated with New Holland, somebody must have known something before those horses even got there.

The thing with some of the trainers I have dealt with is that they want a good price for their tbs. They will tell me $2500 and not a penny less. Then a week later they sell them to the feedlot for $100 if they are lucky. I'm not saying this is what everyone does, but a few I have worked with here do that.

The good thing is that the feedlot man won't take skinny horses or thoroughbreds anymore.

Wonder what that health cit. would have looked like to the person checking health cit. going into Fla.
