Looking for Lady Secretary

Does anybody have any idea who owns her now? She was sold last year by Lou Rou Farms privately to an agent.

You probably already know this, but I usually find the best way to find a mare is to run a progeny report and look at the breeder for the latest foal. Then you can google that person and if there's no address or phone number that comes up, at least their trainer will usually pop up in charts.

Yeah I asked someone to run her progeny report. I don't know if it will help as there is no 2007 Catienus foal in the DB so she must have lost it or it died. Lou Rou couldn't remember who they sold her to. I hope maybe she had a 2008 foal so I can get a breeder from there.

She did not have a 2007 Catienus foal, she had a 2007 Gulf Storm filly (NY bred) that was bred by American Thoroughbred Ventures, LLC. If there is a 2008 foal it hasn't been registered.

Yeah sorry, she was bred to Catienus in 2007 but it appears nothing resulted from it. And American Thoroughbred Ventures, LLC is a Lou Rou LLC so that doesn't help either.

thanks for that refreshing beverage...

Call the farm where Halo's Image stands and ask. I'll bet they can steer you in the right direction.

I would like to let them know if she needs a retirement home when she no longer produces we would like to offer her one. I wrote to the farm where Halo's Image stands so hopefully somebody there will be able to access the info. Thanks!

Since you're looking for Secretariat mares, any idea where Wick is? I know I could look her up if I wasn't so lazy. I used to rub her son Riverbasin.

No, I don't know Wick. Sorry! I guess the only way to get started it to look up her last foal.
