Her first pony

Postby helen in FL » Fri Nov 28, 2008 11:20 am

Went to go teach a client today and as she was riding her horse, baby and I were playing with her pony. I had my mother come to help out so I had the idea to put baby on the pony! Now Kylie has only ever smooched and snuggled my horses so the absolute brightest smile went across her face when she realized that she could actually SIT on them! As you can see!

What a cutie!!! Considering the look on her face, I think you have a real horsewoman on your hands.

Awww...
Thanks for posting that. Your daughter is so cute, and her expression is priceless. Looks like she digs that pony!

When ya start 'em young, it stays with 'em forever! She'll probably be riding horses all of her life now!

I have a picture of me "riding" a pony at 6 months old, too! My mom crouched down behind the pony so you have to look really hard to see her. Apparently, there was a man who went around neighborhoods in Buffalo, NY in the early 1950s taking pictures of kids on his pony because the house in the background is definitely our house. This was the Korean War era, so it was probably a popular with all the Dads who were serving in the military.

It's a cool pic -- and something that's not embarrassing like the ritual baby in bathtub or naked baby pix so many parents used to take when I was a kid!
