had a thoroughbred mare bred by a thoroughbred stallion.....have no proof....except bill which shows I paid for the breeding....what are the things I need to do so I can register the foal next year .....Thanks

When the foal was born, did you do a "live foal report"? You should have gotten it in the mail if the stallion owner did a "mare's bred report". If you have not done this, you will not receive the DNA hair kit, nor the registration application. It is easiest to do online as you can complete everything, but the first step is that of the stallion owner. Check with him first. Get a move on now, you have one year from that foal's birth to complete everything or your $200 reg fee goes up to $525. Good luck, it can be slow. :)
