Hi I have a relation to him down here.(Aus)
His 2nd Dam is the 3rd dam of my mare Zingaresca
She unfortunately did not share the same racing ability and has not left much in the breeding barn.
Good to see him now being well looked after

I enjoyed this story, but it is great to see a human beeing save a horse, whether it is a champion of just a nice pet.
No sweat, I love to see every horse saved!!!

Wish you all a very prosperous, happy, healthy and great 2009, humans and animals!

It's a great story! Ponygirl told me about this the other day during dinner. Glad he gets to live his life out, and how amazing is it that the guy had the papers in his overalls. Tear jerker!

Cheers to Clever Allemont from his half brother (ok, on the Sire side, so I know it doesn't count, but still) Clever Return!

Clever was rehomed to some friends of mine through LOPE, TX.

Got to love the old guys

Imagine, this horse was a good winning horse since a juvenile and a sire, a look what nearly happened to him ---not to mention Ferdinand. Sigh!
