I hope they keep Rich Purloff, Christina Oliveres, Nancy Uri, and maybe Simon Bray. Gary Seidel, Greg Wolf and Mr B are OK too. Pretty much agree with your opinions of the others. Don't know about Ken Rudolph, sometimes he really irritates me. I like Rich's shows on Monday and Tuesdays.
Oh, I do like Jill Byrne.

Tough crowd. I don't mind being in the minority that enjoys Lyons, Shrupp and Carrothers..... actually enjoy the entire crew. Hopefully Betfair will be able to expand the programming, but having to negotiate with each seperate racing entity is a nightmare. The term "cut off your nose to spite your face" could have been coined on our battles among racing factions in the US.
And DOWN the stretch they come!

TVG
Either fire Todd Schrupp, put him on Ritlin, or have him replace Billy Mays (?), that TV product guy that sells everything from putty that can pull a bus to scratch remover for your cars paint.
Frank Lyons is quite a horseman, knows pedigrees, and certainly knows the difference between a filly & a colt, which give him a distinct advantage over many of them. His crude sophomoric jokes probably should have a cap on them.

You know, you might be on to something! Only difference is that his hair is shorter and he looks more feminine.
I may be biased because I've worked for TVG, but I'm with Monmouth Matt. Funny how people like the colour (who have a limited knowledge of racing), but despise the analysts (who are some great handicappers and have a world of knowledge on the sport). It was always fun working for them.
If you really want to complain about on air racing talent, you all should have tuned into HPItv run by Woodbine, before they all got let go, that bunch were horrible and very un knowledgeable.
