Cool portrait of one of our broodmares . . .

Postby KBEquine » Thu Jan 29, 2009 6:42 pm

My ex-sister-in-law came to visit last summer & her new husband, who is an artist, took pictures of the horses. We had a good visit & I didn't think much more of it, until my sister-in-law sent me an email with a copy of the picture her husband did of the mare:

Strawberry Gogo raced from age 2 to about 10 in New England & earned more than $150,000, then produced 2 blacktype daughters. She's just a nice old mare who did everything anyone ever asked of her & I really like that he captured her essence & wanted to share.

Very cool, indeed :!:

The murals are awesome, too.

It IS nice . . . I know he took more pictures . . . I'm hoping there will be more of our horses' portraits in the future.
