Down in the Off Topic section, there is a thread "Presidential Election". Cedar posted there last fall. He passed away late in January. He and I debated the election for quiet a while. He was a true gentleman, he actually considered opinions that he did not hold, he did not venture into name calling and he held those who did accountible (sp). He made me think!!! and for me that was work. He dismissed unsupported opinions and in doing that, he shot holes in most of my post. I considered him a friend and I never met him except here on this site. Cedar Ridge has a son who visits this site and if he reads this post, I want him to know, your dad had CLASS and I wish I had known him better. You can be very proud to his son!!!

I bought some books from him last fall. I am enjoying them.

Roger, thanks for letting us know this sad news. It seems we are losing too many of the good ones. My condolances to the family. He will indeed be missed.
