Stallion Lease Form

Postby Bondama » Thu Mar 05, 2009 8:10 am

Looking for a good lease contract form to use. I will be owner leasing my stallion for an initial period of one year. I have a real basic one, but would like to see a more detailed and comprehensive one.

I guess the question is, what sort of lease is/was it?

It is a very broad kind of scope. Were you letting them "use" your stallion for a year to cover mares with some kind of recompense? Were you going just for breeder's awards? Were you participating in receiving stud fees beyond a stated amount per month for board?

I think it is hard to locate an agreement without finding out first really what sort of agreement you had in mind.
