There is hope!

I started to put this under the Texas Forum, but I think it might fit here as well.
Last Friday we were running at Lone Star in the 5th, (no need to mention how we did). The track was having a concert and Eli Young (I don't know him was the star. There were hundreds of college age kids there. The guys were in dockers and polo's, and the ladies were in short little summer dresses with cowboy boots. They were having a ball forming pools and betting exotics and they were every where. Racing needs more good come-ons for this age group. It was great.

I was on a business trip with some coworkers last week. The hotel bar often had TVG on. We threw money in to bet amongst ourselves. They really enjoyed it and want to go to the track.

I'm going to Fairmount Park next Friday - just sent an email inciting them to join me.

Awesome! Now that's the way to create race fans.
