They dont care about markings.....thats an easy fix with makeup....now if they need a colt to play him as a foal I have just the one!

I saw the casting call on Horsetalk NZ today while searching for someone else. and thought, surely they could find Secretariat closer to home... (I know they just picked up the press release, but still....) I did a quick check for chestnut geldings in CA on Equinenow, and came up with a candidate at Los Alamitos:

I left a phone message for them - maybe they'll submit.

Nothing against Quarter horses, but it would a shame for Secretariat not to be played by a TB ex-racer who is still fit and sound.... at least one of the Secretariats, anyway!

What a storyline it would make to find a Secretariat descendant, OTTB, to play his ancestor. Too cool.

How are they going to find a horse that remotely looks like Big Red? He was massive. Don't mean in hands either..

I submitted our pony horse who is an x-racer. I will try to post photo for all to see, but don't I have to have photobucket or shutterfly? Thanks.
