I was browsing this site and noticed that one can obtain the race record of a horse there. I requested same and was directed to a "sign-up" page.
After filling in the blanks, it took me to a page requesting credit card info but I couldn't find where it stated the cost of membership.
I'm reluctant to do credit card info not knowing how much the card is going to be charged.
Does Equineline have a monthly membership fee or does it just keep the card info in case one does order a report?
All I want is the race record of this one horse and don't want to sign up for $50 a month or something just to get it.
TIA for any info.

The membership is free, but they charge different fees depending on what report you order. Thats why they have your Cc info, they dont charge it though, unless you order a report. They probably do have some fancy memberships where you pay by the month and order stuff for free, I just only order what I want, and they charge your account once a month
In addition to what Walaa said....if all you want is the record and not the lifetime chart, you can get that for free at Brisnet.com.
Still not a bad thing to sign up at Equineline - last time I shopped around, they were offering the best prices on most reports. And now & again, they'll offer free reports to members, which can be very handy!

Thanks for the info everyone! I'm going to go ahead and sign up with equineline ad I think their report is more in-depth than Brisnet. I already know that this horse started three times in 2003 and won $650 even though he did not win, place or show. I guess he was fourth??
What I want to know is where he ran, who owned him at the time, who was the trainer, the distance, the jockey, who else ran, is there a video I can see, and so forth.
I'm pretty sure he ran in Nebraska.

Well, it was worth the $10 or so to watch the videos of my boy! He broke great, led all the way until the stretch then nearly got trampled by the horses running by him but still fun to see him run.
When I fed him that night after watching the videos I said, "What the hell happened?? You had them by like 6 lengths!!"
I'm tempted to get one of those animal communicators!
