Full Moon

Postby Shammy Davis » Sat Oct 03, 2009 5:09 pm

I was reading through some of the posts and it appears that some lucky stuff is happening. Madelyn's SPM is in foal and that was a surprise to all concerned and the local gossip maybe that her Vet is praying that she is not sued for the additional $690 needed for the late KBC fee. Sylvie Hebert found a starting gate in Canada that's cheap and available now. My youngest daughter took a serious hunt spill and came out of it walking with all her limbs intact and operating correctly (thank the lord for safety helmets and vests), as did her favorite horse Early Start. It was a great stakes racing day on TVG. Jill Byrne of HRTV, formerly of TVG, was a surprise show at our hunt's morning tailgate party. She was visiting her mother who is a hunt member. How about the Turf Classic at Belmont with a 43-1 pay-off on a 7 year old gelding that hadn't won in his last 14 starts. I read this morning that one of my favorite racehorses, WITH ANTICIPATION has a new home at Cheshire Foxhounds in Unionville, PA. He is one the staff horses for the huntsman Ivan Dowling. There must be only one reason why all this luck abounds.

It must be a full moon. :D

Glad to hear that your daughter is doing alright, falling is a scary thing.

Thank you. She's fine and will be back riding on Tuesday.
