If you have experience, can anyone please recommend an excellent trainer at Finger Lakes?

That may be the first time I've read/seen the words excellent and Finger Lakes in the same sentence re the upstate New York race track  .

Good luck to ya.

I know a very very nice guy down there. He has a couple horses of my best friends and he is also the one who claimed my mare, Adorable at finger lakes a few years ago. His name is John and as I said is a very very nice guy and is fabulous with the horses. Will PM you the info...

Trainer at Finger Lakes

I'll not comment on the snarky comment about the possibility that there are no "excellent" trainers at FL.

I've been on the backside of that track, in various capacities, for many years. There are, indeed, many excellent trainers/horsemen there. Some of them are also good, honest people who do right by their horses and their owners. I'm guessing that the other poster is referring to John Tebbutt: I would NOT hesitate to send a horse to him. He knows horses, he knows the business, he's a great guy. There are others as well. If you would like to PM me to give a specific situation, I could give you information that may be helpful to you.
