A Fond Farewell to Kiss The Kid

Postby Stevie Belmont » Fri Oct 16, 2009 10:42 am

Tonight is Kiss The Kid's final race in the Meadowland's Cup. Long been one of my faovrite horses. He will get one thing he likes, a sloppy track! Hope he runs a big one. It would be great to see him go out a winner...

Thanks for the photo and the reminder. He has been one of my favorites too.

He gave it his best shot in the slop. He ran a big 2nd! He almost got there.

I always liked this horse too. We owned a half sister to him, named Splendid Kiss, who unfortunately foundered and had to be put down this summer. But I followed him in stable mail and caught his races when I could, he always tried hard and could run over any surface. Cool horse for sure.
