Off topic--sad news

Postby henthorn » Tue Feb 08, 2005 6:27 pm

Please pray for my husband's family. His 25 yo nephew, Jeffrey Stuart Henthorn, was killed today in Iraq. A dedicated soldier, divorced father of three. He leaves behind his parents, sisters, ex-wives, and three children age three, six and seven. My mother-in-law, who is 82, called me to notify us that her oldest grandson was killed; so she had the unhappy task of notifying her younger sons and daughters, and her oldest son could spend time with the boy's mother privately today. Sad news indeed.

My deepest sympathy Henthorn to you and the family. Especially the little ones who will probably have trouble comprehending what has happened and why.

Such a waste of a life.

Dear God, what a sacrifice!!!! Hang in there. Each day I wonder why? Hopefully it was all for something.

So sorry to hear of your family's loss. He did not die in vain.

My heart goes out to your family, Henthorn. I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. We should all be so proud of our brave soldiers and airmen...and be very thankful for them and their great sacrifices.
