Modern longer than 18 characters names

How many modern longer than 18 characters names have you encounter. I just came across this one, who even was a "Derby" winner:

Bonconte Di Montefeltro (23 characters)

How is this in the USA, in my country a horse's naam may have 16 characters not longer. The computer has no more space
When a foreigner is imported, they have to shorten the name!

Before the computertime however, there was no limit to a name.
The more I get to know people, the more I love animals.

erins isle,

I am asking myself similar questions on this topic. Would like to know on the criteria used by different international authorities when dealing with longer or "sui-generis" names from other countries such as the aforecited.
Hope some experts may assist us. Thanks in advance for your opinions.

No other cases? How come?

A little digression from the main topic. How about posting the name (an existing one) containing the most words within the limit of 18 characters?. :D

Hey, some people are really creative squeezing-in "lots" of words
