Where to find help

Postby Garysmom » Mon Jan 11, 2010 8:42 pm

Does anyone know of any good places to post for help wanted for a breeding and race training barn? I tried Yard and Groom and mostly got people from overseas. That wouldn't be a big problem except that my boss is REALLY demanding and we've had people quit after a few hours of work. So I don't want to make someone move here to be miserable. You sort of have to meet the guy to get an idea of what you're in for. I thought of Equistaff but there aren't many race type jobs on that board. I've tried the local tracks, but my boss is called "El Diablo" by the grooms! I swear it's not that bad, but you have to be hardworking, not drunk or high, and not think you know it all. Harder to find than one might think! I don't know where to look anymore.

If you have a college with an equine program that would be a good place to post a job as well.
