Stalls available Bel Air, MD

Postby Laurierace » Wed Jan 13, 2010 9:20 am

I am in the process of getting my training operation up and running at Old Bonita Farms in Bel Air, MD. In order to spread the word and get the place filled up I am offering special prices on every service we offer including lay-ups, starting young horses, legging up and race training. Check it out and give me a call. Thanks, Laurie

That's $27,034.01 away from topping a million dollars in earnings for your owners. :D You are hitting the board 41.2%. Very respectable numbers Laurie.

Thanks for the kind words everyone. I am more or less starting over from scratch. I had to give up my owners when Pimlico closed because I had nowhere to take the horses. Hopefully I will start to build up clientele again now that I have a great facility and can offer a full range of services rather than just race training.

You know it is a great place to get babies started. They can get turned out a lot so they aren't as wild and can gallop both directions on the track so they build up even muscling. Although people have done it over the years I think its too quiet to finish a baby up though. I think they would need 30-60 days at the track to get used to all the hustle and bustle, but we can do it for a lot less money on the farm and save the owners from a track day rate until the end.

I remember when Bonita Farm and Boniface family was featured on an Animal Planet series. That was a number of years back. I always hoped that they would do a rerun.

That was their "new" farm. I am at their old farm. They have been at the new place for 23 years though so its not brand spanking new.
