I really like her. She's a beautiful girl and I like her overall balance and the fact that she has great bone. Looks like you've got a great horse! Kindest Regards, Chris

Looks like she should raise you some sprinters. Breed her to a good miler and you should get a race horse.

Do you plan to race the babies?

Congratulations.

You shipped her out of Florida just as breeding sheds are opening and plan to ship her back to Florida to be bred?

Given that Hear No Evil was mainly a hard knockin miler, i think he is a good cross. Next year Ill try to get to an unbridled line stallion, im thinkin songandaprayer. would love a little more stamina. Yeah I brought her up to tennessee til shes ready. im very finicky over my horses. I use an excellent shipper with great rates, so its really not that much difference, plus i didnt feel like spending 25-30 a day on board

Best of luck to you.

I'd ask around in Ocala as to board rates. Quality board can be had for $18 a day or less in Ocala. Not saying that some don't try to charge 25-30, but that's way out of line for Ocala.

I wouldn't go with too much more stamina.
Stamina and speed rarely produce sprinters who can stay, or stayers that can sprint. Usually just slow horses.

Stick around a mile and you will be better off, statistically at least. Better to put the chances on your side. There is enough that can go wrong on its own.

Thanks yall. I was looking at rolling the dice and taking a chance on first defence in 2011. has a lot of stamina blood but was winnning at 6-8 furlongs. sunshine has produced runners that got a mile and a sixteenth, so im holding hope for a some distance out of her. i was dead set on hear no evil this year. so you can guess jackson bend is my derby favorite. hes got a tough field next weekend in the FOY
