ELMER BANDIT, 38 YO gelding passed on

Postby Princequillo » Wed Feb 17, 2010 10:44 am

ELMER BANDIT, the 38 YO Trail Riding Champion, on February 14th. He was still competing in the fall of 2009. What an extraordinary horse... He
and his rider/owner Mary Anna Wood had been together for 34 years. RIP Elmer Bandit.

I was not aware of Elmer Bandit...but when I read the article, I felt like an old friend had passed.

May the alfalfa be a plenty.

RIP Elmer, what an outstanding life you had. Kudos to owner Mary Anna Wood, who was with Elmer for 34 years - what a wonderful testament to excellent care.

To All,
Take a look at this website from 'The Horse'... Elmer Bandit and Mary Anna had quite a fan base judging from all the loving comments posted.
