I am trying to help someone find out some information about Garden State Park in NJ. Does anyone know when they installed the turf course? I think it was between 1968 and 1973.

I don't have an answer for you but maybe a way to fetch it. The DRF archives are available here (sample 1970):

You can go back or forward in time and find the pps where the turf starts show up. There is probably an article in the text pages that may also be searchable.

I think this is a cool place to dig up that kind of stuff
