what kind of dumb headline is this re Singspiel?

they make it sound like he's an eccentric shy or crazy breeder. It's just declining fertility. What do they mean "unsettling"?

Its a play on words. He is not "settling" his mares. Nothing eccentric crazy or shy indicated at all - just not getting the job done.

As Jessi P said, it's just a poor attempt at a pun.

The BloodHorse does love their pun headlines. I thought putting WIN/WIN on the cover of Drosselmeyer's Belmont issue was a stroke of genius. :D
