Need to contact a breeder of a Breeders' Cup champ

Postby Mahubah » Fri Nov 05, 2010 4:28 pm

Could any of you PM me with contact info for William A. Carl? Would like to talk to him about how he planned the mating that resulted in Shared Account. TIA.

Shared Account's trainer's people might be able to put you in touch. They can be reached here: http://www.hgrahammotion.com/

Another thought: according to today's TDN, Shared Account was born at Woodstock Farm. They're on Old Frankfort Pike in Lexington. There was an article about them recently in the BloodHorse and they sounded like the sort of people who might be willing to help you get in touch.

Thanks again. Following up a different lead, I found a reference indicating that Mr. Carl passed away in January 2009. Since I don't go in for attempts to contact the dead, I suppose I'm out of luck.

Perhaps there was some communication between him and LE regarding the choice of stallions?

I wish I had been smart enough to put $2 on her, playing on the strength of her female family!
