Anyone use the "Tie-forward" procedure for displacement, lately?
The vet journals are saying it has become more effective.
Anyone tried it on their racehorse in the last year or two?
Thanks for your help!

I am thinking about $1500. Not that you asked for opinions but if I were starting from scratch I would not start with the tie forward. The llewelyn is a very good procedure that costs less and has a much shorter recovery period. That is the first step after the equipment changes fail in my opinion. Same filly won the MSW first time out after the llewelyn.

RR,
The trainer seems to think the horse is displacing briefly during end of races, based on the fact that she is stopping, and the jock hears noise in the airways for a brief period.
Do you have other thoughts of causes?
