Horse Colors

Postby sarahsull21 » Tue Mar 01, 2011 6:44 pm

Someone is changing all of the American horses after 1960 or so to Brown - The Jockey Club lists these horses as Dark Bay/Brown or Bay - Can we please distinguish our horses from the Europeans? Or do we have to follow their rules?

Colors in the database should always match the horses' registration in its country of birth. Unfortunately, it's an open database and some people are working from incorrect info.

If you see a horse with the incorrect color listed, feel free to change it back. For recurring issues with the same horse, PM me the name and I will lock it so it can no longer be edited by the general public.
