For anyone that missed the point. All horses conform to the rules of color genetics. Provided a grey mare is heterozygous for the grey gene the offspring will have a 50% chance of being grey when she is bred to Dynaformer. The bloodstock agent inplied that Dynaformer somehow doesn't conform to this rule.
The "bloodstock agent" implies that he or she has very minimal understanding of genetics. The grey gene, in this case, would come from the dam, is a dominant gene, and could not be "overwritten" by Dynaformer. This is something that has nothing whatsoever to do with the stallion, in this case.
So Run for the Roses, as fast as you can.....
