I was south of Charlottesville hauling some hay back and I missed it. Not because it didn't shake the earth. I was so stupid, I thought the road needed re-surfacing because the truck was all over the road. When I got home I still didn't know it had occurred until my wife told me the quake rattled the shelves, the cats headed for cover, the dogs howled, and the horses raced around in the paddocks. Fortunately, the house is standing and so are the out buildings.
And here I am thinking that the VA Department of Transportation should get off there butts and fix the roads. I wasn't good at earth studies and geology anyway.
