How would Breeders Cup win effect value of family?

If a 1/2 brother of a mare ran in or won a Breeders Cup race, what effect would that have on her value. She was not a stakes runner but was a solid earner. So far she has had 2 to foals to race, 1 winner. Obviously a broad, hypothetical question but interesting to contemplate.

It would really depend on her age. If she is 17+, not much. BTW "ran in" wouldn't affect value. Only won or placed.
