Bold Executive has died

Just read that Bold Executive has died. He's left quite a legacy to Canadian racing.

Wonderful stallion in Ontario, if you wanted a tough race mare all you had to do was find a bay filly by Bold Executive, they could run through broken glass.

At 27 years he was the oldest active stallion in North America! And still the leading sire 8)

I'm grateful that I was able to get a healthy foal by the big guy this year. Hopefully he will be able to carry on Bold's legacy.

K~2 - is your mare typical of a Bold Executive in body and colur?

Oops I spelled colour wrong

My guy is atypical for a Bold Executive as well:

I'm okay with that :)
