have you been to KY? The car dealership are hurting just as bad as the horse business, except everyone needs a car. No one needs a horse.. If any of the 12 car dealerships between New Circle and Versailles road offered to take horses in trade trailers would be lined up. The we take anything for trade could be extended to include things like hamsters..

If you trade in your old car for a new fiat or prius we will give you 3 hamsters in gangster clothes to ride home with you for the kids.. Everyone wins!

Last fall I swapped a new wheelbarrow for an old gelding at the track and shortly after I found him a home in the country with a teenage girl who had just lost her old pony and was inconsolable. Basically I wanted to keep an eye on the old boy in case he ended up on the Quebec Shuttle but it all ended even better than I could have hoped.
