average earnings per starter

Postby Toccet02 » Thu Nov 03, 2011 6:18 am

This may be too general a question, but what would you say is an average AES for:
horses that have competed through 5YO season, 4YO season, 3YO season and 2YO season?

I track this info in my fantasy stable, and have seen it in stallion register, but of course broken down by sire. This would be for any sire, any mare, any track; only thing in common is they were horses sold at Keesep or Ocala 2YO in training sales.

Thanks!

nudge...no one?
my 5YOs AES is $65,005
4YOS $44,503
3YOS $40,976
2YOS $24,367

Any opinions at least on whether or not these seem decent?
:)

Theyre good. If my real life stable were as good as your fantasy stable I would be doing cartwheels.

Of course, mind the sales I "buy" them from. Ocala Breeders and Keeneland. That should up the average a bit because of owner expectations, no? I looked up the thoroughbred national average and it's well below mine, but that's every Thoroughbred.
But thanks anyway!
