Starquine Listings

Postby IcouldbeU » Sun Jan 29, 2012 11:24 am

Why is it so hard for the Starquine listings to be updated? At least every 3-4 months. There seems to be listings that are several years old. I was about to make a few inquiries when I realized that the breeding dates were 2010?!? Come on , its not as though there are a million listings to update. A simple phone call or email asking if the mare is still available and if not remove her, if she is update the listing with a 2011 breeding date. Now I remember why I do not frequent that site very often.

Not only that but any horse that was listed last year as a two year old still shows as a two year old even though they are three now.

I guess if it was a free site I could understand but they charge money and you would think they would archive things.

Is this an internal problem or lack of follow up by the people listing the horse? who maintains the listings? that may be the big question.
I know the standard listing is 6 months so the Jan 1st roll over is an obvious issue and horses sold off line may not get updated and hang around
