This absolutley stunning to look at and amazing to watch Australian mare has done it again -

For grins I've pasted up links to the pedigrees of all three of the 'down under' bred consecutive wins record holders mentioned in this article.

Too bad Zenyatta was not brought to Churchill earlier to get used to the track when she LOST her 20th, and had she won they could have kept her going last year in certain races to keep up the record.

Now the poor girl is always pregnant and we can't see her anymore.

Black Caviar is indeed a gorgeous mare. Kind of a storybook event that she is doing! I wonder if we will ever see her in the USA for a Breeders Cup???

And the fact her sire and dam were not big shots like they have over here, charging hundreds of thousands to breed to and you get nothing!

Go Black Caviar!!!
We will NEVER see another Ruffian......

She takes your breath away. Does anyone have info on Vain to whom she is inbred up close?

Vain was one of Australia's best ever sprinters.

Vain is also from family A10 which is a great speed family for the QH too. Could be a coincidence but interesting nonetheless.

Hi Jellac,
You chose the right word when you called her stunning! She never even broke out of a gallop to get the job done. The rider never even looked back to see who's coming he just sat chilly throughout....didn't move a muscle and she just knew what to do, like a jet plane on auto pilot...just amazing! Enjoy her race below. TJ

Can you imagine if he ever actually asks her for anything? He is just along for the ride in that race. Shes amazing.
