on TVG. I just don't care about how happy Joe Theisman's wife is that the water bill has come down now that he's not up every few hours overnight flushing the toilet. I'm sure they did not mean that he was literally "up" as in, well, THAT kind of "up" ... but then maybe they could run the trojan ad that shows late night on discovery ID and then at least there's be SOMETHING in it for the women who watch TVG.
It's one thing for people to have stereotyped the OTB patron but now they are trying to say their core audience are men who have to pee like a racehorse?
Someone please buy some airtime...

I have my own issues with TVG, and that's why I only watch it during the week preceding the Breeders' Cup, for "The Works" info. My chief complaint is their constant use of Paul LoDuca as a host. With a slew of people in racing who would be competent hosts, they chose a guy with a checkered past (see baseball's Mitchell Report) and a well-reported gambling problem (Google his name and the NY Mets). Granted, who among us is without sin ... but TVG constantly refers to him as a "five-time MLB All-Star" when that fact has absolutely nothing to do with his qualifications to handicap horses effectively. You know who'd be perfect for a TVG job? Philly Daily News turf writer Dick Jerardi.
