Where are you folks watching all this??

Surely TVG doesn't cover it. Have heard and seen some articles on this horse. Would have loved to see him get a thorough trouncing against Ghostzapper in the states. :P

If i'm correct Silent Witness has only raced on that track in Hong Kong? :?:

Actually, they do.

Would never have happened if for no other reason than Ghostzapper is a DIRT HORSE and SW is a turfer.

The people calling for that stupid ass idea were idiots (and yes, I'm including the owners in that group).

He was a very game second, though I was rooting for him to win anyway.
Still 17 consecutive wins is an extremely impressive record!

Impressive???? That may just qualify as the understatement of the decade :!: Who else in history matches or beats that record? Doubt there will be anything but great names on a very short list.

Kincsem won all of her 54 races throughout Europe from 1876 to 1879. Camarero won 56 races in Puerto Rico from Aril 19, 1953 to his first defeat on August 17, 1955. Lenoxbar won 46 out of 56 races in one year, in Puerto Rico in 1940. And we have Assualt, Cigar, and several others with more than 12 consecutive wins.
