jorge, have you taken a look at carnivalay and his son ameri valay? northern dancer line. carnivalay is currently pensioned at country life farm in maryland. his picture on pedigree query is only a head shot, however, if you emailed them at the farm they would probably be happy to share other photos with you. their online photo galleries are quite stunning. (www.countrylifefarm.com) i'm not sure where ameri valay stands now...used to be in maryland. i enjoy your posts and all the pictures we get to see! ak

saw this fellow on the canter new england website...gonzo appears to have tetrarch like spots. pretty nifty looking and eyecatching if one wanted to take him in the show ring...

Hi Jorge,
I am in the midst of searching for the perfect TB chestnut sabino stallion for my 3/4 TB Palomino sabino mare. So whenever I get the chance I just surf the net, I have come across quite a few but decided this one was from interesting bloodlines so I posted him for you, if you like I can post all the ones I find!
Hmmm, I think I may have actually found this guy in a round about way off a link through a DSLD group I'm on (I have an affected Peruvain mare), they are looking into the incidence of this disease in TB's and there was some links to sound/unsound lines etc. Anyway somehow this handsome fellow came up. Too bad he has passed on because he would have been a contender for breeding to my mare!
I am also fascinated by color and bloodlines and hope to learn more on this forum. There is nothing better then a thoroughbred and if it has a pretty package it's even better!
The sire of my mare is a TB by the name of Musing, while he has a narrow blaze and some white on his legs I wouldn't have said he was sabino. However, alot of his foals are sabino, so who knows? I doubt my filly's coloring is from her dam as she only had a small star. Here's a link to his website www.camenaefarms.com
I will post any more interesting finds for you.

Dear KC,
Thank you very much for your valuable watch.
Please feel free to share every atypically white marked Thoroughbred you find in other non-Thoroughbred related fields, for I know by experience that, on many many occassions, these individuals are also atypically pedigreed, like precisely was the case of LAUDANUM (1967).
Low profile with unfashionable pedigree atypically white marked Thoroughbreds are ALWAYS an extraordinary great find for these pedigrees are almost always free of the fashionable and mighty Northern Dancer and Hail To Reason lineages. The less top-notch the case, the better for finding hidden lineages.
Thanks again for that great find.
Blessings,
